The Arke Audio Solos stand-mount speakers deliver commanding acoustic performance within a refined design. These sophisticated mid-sized monitors produce expansive, full-spectrum sound ideally suited for medium to large listening environments, with impressive bass extension reaching 26-28Hz in typical room settings.

Their thoughtful engineering creates an authoritative, precisely defined soundstage with remarkable depth and stability. Construction

Arke Audio design speakers that harmonise with diverse living spaces while maintaining acoustic excellence. Our enclosures utilise solid materials selected specifically for structural integrity, resonance control, and vibration management.

The Arke Audio Solos features solid engineered bamboo construction, with a 30mm thick high density front baffle. The 27-litre cabinet's exceptional quietness creates minimal acoustic signature, allowing the pure musical information to emerge uncoloured. This engineering approach results in remarkable clarity and spatial presence - sound that seems to exist independently in space rather than emanating from physical objects.

Driver Technology

Our driver selection process focuses on achieving the ideal balance between analytical precision and natural tonal character. The Arke Audio Solos stand-mount speakers are voiced for versatility across musical genres, with particular refinement in reproducing the nuanced textures of vocals, piano, brass, and string instruments.

Dynamic range is preserved with remarkable fidelity, handling complex percussive passages with authority. The mid/bass frequencies are reproduced through carefully selected 220mm SEAS Nextel drivers, featuring paper cones with proprietary Nextel surface treatment and additional damping layers. This larger driver configuration delivers exceptional detail and tonal accuracy throughout the critical midrange while providing the additional 2dB of sensitivity that enhances dynamic expression.

Tweeter Implementation

The high-frequency driver was selected to complement the midrange qualities of the larger SEAS Nextel cone. The Satori Textreme tweeter incorporates advanced carbon fibre technology, achieving low-distortion reproduction extending to 40kHz.

After comprehensive evaluation of beryllium, fabric, and TeXtreme options, we determined the TeXtreme driver integrates optimally with the mid/bass unit. This pairing creates the ideal equilibrium between transparency and detail while maintaining natural tonal character. The resulting presentation offers vivid, lifelike sound reproduction without introducing artificial brightness or forward characteristics.

Crossover Architecture

Arke Audio crossover networks feature premium-grade components, including Jantzen Alumen Z-cap capacitors and Jantzen copper foil wax coils. The second-order design minimises signal path interference while ensuring seamless transition between drivers.

Internal wiring utilises a hybrid of single-crystal silver and single-crystal copper conductors, further enhancing signal integrity and overall system performance.
