Arke Audio are extremely excited to announce their UK premier at the North West Audio show on the 21st and 22nd June 2025. We'll be in room 146 at Cranage Hall and will be demonstrating the very surprising Arke Audio Mikros - a compact stand mount speaker that pushes the boundaries of performance for a small speaker at it's very competitive price point.
Using high performance composite bamboo and advanced drive units, the Arke Audio Mikros offer performance rarely achieved in the £5-10k price bracket. Quite a claim, we know - they have to be heard to be believed. Bass performance - extension, solidity, texture and slam - belies their compact and room-friendly dimensions.
The composite bamboo construction is not only beautiful, but provides and extremely well-damped and inert environment in which the drivers can really perform. Cabinet resonance and noise is minimised delivering a very transparent sound, with wonderful imaging - instruments are portrayed in 3D space with incredible stability and poise.
The mid/bass drivers use the latest Nextel technology from SEAS and provide incredible dynamics, clarity and naturalness. The TeXtreme tweeter is a truly incredible driver, employing the latest carbon fibre technology. Details and nuance are delivered with wonderful clarity. The balance is delicate and never strays in to hard or forced.
The Crossovers, wiring and Binding posts are of the highest quality. The Mikros feature aluminium foils capacitors and wax coil inductors. The binding posts from WBT are gold-plated pure copper and feature a low mass design. The Studio Connections wiring is a hybrid of single crystal Copper and single crystal Silver - no expense spared!
